About us
The Aaron Traffas Band, based out of southern Kansas, is a regional act that blends influences from national alt-country legends, as well as the best of the Texas country and red dirt music scenes, into its its own edgy anthemic Americana sound.
With a studio focus on writing honest, original songs about loss, love and longing, and an energetic live show with an emphasis on professionalism and entertainment, the ATB has released two, full-length albums and played shows in venues and festivals big and small over the last 20 years.

Hey Barber County! This Saturday, don’t miss the SIXTH annual South of Sharon music festival and free family fun spectacular! Hey, this is Aaron Traffas. Each year, we look forward to inviting friends and neighbors to my house just south of Sharon to hang out and enjoy an afternoon and evening jam packed with free music – this year from four bands and 8 acoustic acts! We’ll serve burgers, hotdogs, beer and pop for everyone, and we’ll have yard games, inflatables, disc golf and more. It’s fun for the whole family — and if you’re seeing this, you’re invited to bring your own friends and family — and lawn chairs — and hang out with us! We hope to see you starting just after noon THIS Saturday, August 1!
